The mastermind project is about questions and answers.  It was intriguing for me to transform color into such a dictatorial world of right & wrong. The paintings & photographs are a study of different players’ results, recorded and then transformed into summaries of the game. The correct answer paintings represent the questionable world of the correct codes of  our actual life. The later white canvases with holes are challenging codes with the white pegs ‘in the wrong place’ combinations which question the answers and the individual freedom of decision making.
