I was attracted by the pureness of the origami. Abstraction of simple everyday objects and animals into different folded planes to represent a  common object. The spaceman paintings are made out of silver paper, which transformed the straight plane folding into a dynamic, shimmering surface to paint, breaking the generality of the normal paper tones.
